Biography

Ray grew up in north central Montana and attended school in Big Sandy. He graduated from Montana State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and with a minor in English. He then attended the Denver Paralegal Institute. He has over 25 years' experience as a paralegal.

He has worked many years in the workers' compensation field on both sides. He has also worked for the Idaho Attorney General's Office on water right issues and for the nonprofit Disability Rights Montana. Ray's desire has always been helping individuals receive the legal help and assistance that they need.

Ray, and his wife Denise, have two children and five grandchildren. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his family and dogs, enjoying the great outdoors, and cheering for the Griz during football season.
