The firm's client was found unconscious by his wife on the property of the employer ranch. It was not known what caused his injuries, but it was suspected he ran into or struck by a metal ladder. Our client suffered traumatic brain injury. The workers' compensation insurer denied the claim. Through the firm's efforts, the claim was eventually accepted but the insurer continued to dispute the severity of TBI, our client's deficits and much of the recommended medical care. The claim eventually settled for $2,915,000.
