Taylor Johnson is a life-long native of Montana, born and raised in the north-central community of Conrad. She spent her younger years growing up and working on a fourth generation farm/ranch family-packing pipe, driving combines, feeding calves, etc. Upon graduating from Conrad High School in 2011, she ventured to the east coast where she attended Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, and Entrepreneurship. Although living on the East Coast and Seattle were valuable experiences, the pull back to Montana was too difficult to resist. Following graduation from Brown in 2015, she attended the Alexander Blewett III School of Law at the University of Montana.
In the summer of 2016, Taylor was granted an invaluable internship position with Montana Workers' Compensation Judge, the Honorable David Sandler. There, she assisted in researching and writing orders and attained a good grasp of workers' compensation issues in Montana. In the summer of 2017, Taylor had the opportunity to take an internship in the Billings office of the firm now known as Odegaard Miller Law, PLLC, where she was hired as an associate attorney following graduation from law school and successful completion of the bar exam in 2018.
Taylor is licensed to practice in Montana state and federal courts and holds memberships in the Yellowstone Area Bar Association, American Bar Association, American Association for Justice, and Montana Trial Lawyers Association. Taylor spends her free time running, swimming, and doing hot yoga. She has an extreme affinity for Flathead Lake-wake surfing and water skiing in the summer and snow skiing in the winter. Taylor is also a certified Bikram and hot vinyasa yoga instructor and loves leading classes in the hot room.
