My husband (Rod) had an issue at the hospital. They violated his DNR wishes twice. Once on Monday and then again on Tuesday. We really liked working with them because they made you feel at ease, and did everything they could to make him comfortable. They kept you informed at each step of the process and what would be happening next. Unfortunately, we had to go all the way and go to trial with this, and it was sad because Rod could not see the outcome of this case. He had passed away before trial came. His wishes were to make sure I finished what he had started, So I granted his wishes and with the best lawyers around. The outcome of the trial was he had won his case. The jury saw fit that there was negligence. My life has changed so much. I know Rod did not want to live in pain and suffering anymore, but completing this challenge for him was awesome.
